PLA Navy officer recalls dramatic Sudan evacuation at Hong Kong barracks open day

A PLA Navy officer who helped evacuate hundreds of Chinese nationals during the Sudanese civil war shared the emotional experience at a Hong Kong barracks open day. The mission was carried out by the guided-missile destroyer Nanning and the guided-missile frigate Hengyang during a port call as part of Hong Kong's anniversary celebrations.
