Iran began a dayslong funeral for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, killed in a Feb. 28 airstrike. Mourners called for revenge against Israel and the United States, and the funeral may strengthen the theocracy under his son, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei. Iran warned France and the UK over potential joint patrols in the Strait of Hormuz.
