7 injured after fire breaks out in trash chute of Greater Grand Crossing apartment building

Seven people were injured after a fire broke out in the trash chute of a high-rise apartment building in Greater Grand Crossing on Saturday morning. Firefighters responded to the building on West 71st Street around 6 a.m., and the building was evacuated. Four injured individuals were in good condition, while three were in fair condition.
