Venezuela’s Official Death Toll From Quake Rises to Almost 3,000
The official death toll from twin earthquakes in Venezuela has risen to nearly 2,000, with recovery efforts ongoing in Caraballeda, La Guaira state. Aftershocks have decreased in frequency and intensity since the June 24 earthquakes.
