An 84-year-old Australian man has been a victim of a Facebook Messenger scam for four years, losing thousands of dollars to a 'prize' scam where he must pay fees to receive money. Despite being shown evidence, he continues to believe the scam, and the submitter cannot contact his family or block the scam messages.
