Haryana Human Rights Commission takes cognisance of custodial torture, extortion allegations against police
The Haryana Human Rights Commission has taken notice of allegations of custodial torture and extortion by police. It has directed that if the claims are verified, responsible officials will be held accountable, and an Action Taken Report with inquiry findings must be submitted before the next hearing.
