Couple accused of neglecting 2 ‘young children’ at Key Largo resort

A South Florida couple, Brian Nicholas Cannella and Allison Sirica Cannella, were arrested after leaving two young children unattended in a room at a Key Largo resort while they consumed alcohol at the pool. Deputies reported the children were alone for 40 minutes to an hour, leading to felony child neglect charges. The children were placed with a family friend until authorities arrived.
