Jewellery worth millions of euros stolen in French museum burglary

Burglars stole millions of euros’ worth of jewellery from the Lalique museum in northeastern France during an early-morning raid. The theft in Wingen-sur-Moder involved masked thieves breaking in and smashing open six display cases, following a similar gem robbery at the Louvre in Paris months earlier.
