US military starts removing mines from Strait of Hormuz

The U.S. military has initiated de-mining operations in the Strait of Hormuz, as announced by U.S. Central Command. Two Navy guided-missile destroyers, the USS Frank E. Peterson and USS Michael, began setting conditions for the mission on Saturday.
