Girl, 4, dies after drowning in Plantation lake

A 4-year-old girl drowned in a lake in the Westport subdivision of Plantation on Sunday. Her father discovered her face-down in the water, performed CPR, and called 911. Medics transported her to Broward Health Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. Plantation police are investigating the incident as a tragic accidental drowning.
