Chicago boy, 10, killed and man critically injured in Gary, Ind. shooting

A 10-year-old Chicago boy and a 50-year-old man were shot in Gary, Ind., with the boy dying at the hospital and the man remaining in critical condition. Another shooting occurred 15 minutes earlier in Gary near 19th Avenue and Hanley Street, where six people self-transported to a hospital. Investigations are ongoing for both incidents.
