Chennai Corporation defers new infrastructure projects, cancels tenders worth more than ₹600 crore

Chennai Corporation has deferred new infrastructure projects and canceled tenders worth over ₹600 crore to manage expenditure and improve planning. The civic body has also withheld annual ward maintenance funds, leading to damaged civic buildings and UPHCs.
