Tinubu directed the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) to investigate Meta, Google, X, and AI platforms over complaints from Nigeria’s major media organizations. The media groups accused the tech companies of anti-competitive practices, unauthorized use of news content, and unfair commercial treatment.
