French man charged with keeping nine-year-old son locked in van since 2024

A French man has been charged with imprisoning his nine-year-old son in a van since 2024, leading to the child's rescue by police after neighbors reported sounds of a child in Hagenbach, eastern France. The malnourished boy was found in the vehicle near the borders of Switzerland and Germany.
