The Genes That Could Cancel Out a Fatal Diagnosis
Ludivine Verboogen and Romain Alderweireldt's son was diagnosed with neonatal Marfan syndrome, a genetic condition with a poor prognosis. The couple identified 122 people with Marfan mutations but no symptoms, including 24 with the neonatal variant.
