Israel bans Jerusalem Grand Mufti from Al-Aqsa Mosque for a week

Israeli forces detained Sheikh Mohammad Hussein, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine, after his Friday sermon and prayers, leading to a one-week ban from the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex. This follows a previous six-month ban issued in August last year for a sermon condemning Israel’s starvation policy in Gaza.
