UK’s alcohol-free beer boom threatened by regulations, trade body warns
The British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA) warns that strict regulations are hindering the UK's alcohol-free beer market, urging a change in the alcohol content definition from 0.05% to 0.5%. Over 64 million pints of low- and no-alcohol beer are forecast to be sold this summer, an 8 million increase compared to 2025.
