US party heads to China to examine national security implications of trade relationship

A U.S. congressional advisory panel delegation is visiting China for the first time in seven years to assess how the economic and trade relationship between the two countries impacts national security. The US-China Economic and Security Review Commission plans meetings with Chinese government officials, academics, industry leaders in AI, biotechnology, and robotics, as well as U.S. diplomats.
