Nearly a third of college students use AI as part of daily life, study reveals
A study by American University's Kogod School of Business found that over 80% of college students used AI tools for academic work in the past six months, with brainstorming as the top use case. Employer inquiries about AI skills increased from 11.6% in 2024 to 42.6% in 2026, while weekly AI usage rose from 6% to 29% over the same period.
