Polls open for special Republican primary in South Carolina: What to know
The special Republican primary in South Carolina is set for August 11, determining the opponent for Dr. Annie Andrews in the general election this fall following the death of Lindsey Graham. Darline Graham Nordone will run on the special primary ballot to fill the remainder of his term. If no candidate secures over 50% of the vote on August 11, a runoff election is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25.
