Hundreds of sea turtles are stranded in Cape Cod each year. An ‘amazing network’ has mobilized to help
Mass stranding of sea turtles has made Massachusetts beaches a hotspot for annual rescue efforts in Cape Cod. Conservationists and volunteers are mobilized, providing care at the New England Aquarium’s Sea Turtle Hospital. One patient mentioned is a turtle named “Lucky,” who was treated by veterinarian Kathy Tuxbury.
