US military says 5 killed in Eastern Pacific boat strikes

The U.S. military reported five fatalities in boat strikes in the Eastern Pacific, attributing the incidents to vessels operating along known narco-trafficking routes. The strikes were authorized by Gen. Francis L. Donovan, commander of U.S. Southern Command, through Joint Task Force Southern Spear.
