Emergency text feature saves 88-year-old driver, his dog stranded on muddy back road

An 88-year-old driver and his dog were stranded in muddy conditions in a remote area of Yavapai County, Arizona. Because there was no cell service, the man successfully used an SOS text feature on his phone to allow officials to pinpoint their exact location. Rescuers from the Forest Patrol and search-and-rescue teams navigated difficult terrain to reach the man, who was found healthy and unharmed.
