California county eyes Tina Peters for elections office role after prison release
Shasta County is considering hiring Tina Peters to fill a role in its elections office as a contract employee for Assistant Registrar of Voters Brent Turner. Peters was convicted on charges related to the breach of Mesa County election equipment and recently released from a Colorado state prison after her sentence was commuted. Despite her past conviction, she agreed to travel to Shasta County to work in person.
