- Study shows salmon exposed to cocaine swim longer distances... no kidding
A study by scientists from Griffith University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences found that salmon exposed to cocaine and benzoylecgonine swam nearly twice as far weekly and eight miles more than unexposed fish. The research aimed to understand the impact of drug pollution in waterways, following reports of cocaine in sharks off Brazil's coast.
