26 Mile Road

A suspect was killed after a deputy shooting during a pursuit on 26 Mile Road in Macomb County. The suspect, wanted on felonious assault and fleeing charges, engaged in a confrontation with deputies, during which he was shot twice. A neighbor expressed shock at the incident and gratitude for law enforcement, while the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office now investigates the officer-involved shooting.
