The UK has imposed new sanctions targeting the Kremlin-backed A7 crypto network, which uses ruble-backed tokens and offshore routes to bypass Western restrictions on Russia's war economy. The measures include 18 entities, such as a Kyrgyz bank and a major crypto exchange, linked to moving over $90 billion through illicit channels.
