- Frustrating Israel, fiber-optic killer drone technology has arrived in southern Lebanon
Fiber-optic First Person View (FPV) drones operated by Hezbollah have altered the battlefield in southern Lebanon, causing damage to Israeli forces. The drones, costing $300-$400 and locally manufactured using 3D printing, are immune to jamming and have proven effective despite requiring skilled operators. Israeli forces appear unprepared for this technology, which originated in Ukraine and is now used in the region.
