The Altadena Chamber of Commerce launches its Legislative & Government Affairs 2026 Speaker Series with Congresswoman Judy Chu speaking at the Maxwell House in Pasadena. Chu represents California’s 28th Congressional District, covering Pasadena and the west San Gabriel Valley, and was elected in July 2009 as the first Chinese American woman to Congress.

Altadena residents who exhausted their federal disaster aid from the Eaton Fire may qualify for a state grant of up to $10,000 through California’s State Supplemental Grant Program.
