The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office is reopening a case against Rubin Wenyou, a patient who assaulted nurse Yanira Eguileor at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Eguileor filed a lawsuit against the hospital for inadequate security, and prosecutors initially dropped charges after failing to contact victims. The case was reopened after prosecutors interviewed Eguileor, while Wenyou remains in custody on unrelated charges.
