A federal judge denied Meta's motion to dismiss copyright infringement claims by adult film producer Strike 3 Holdings, who allege Meta used BitTorrent to download and distribute their content for AI training. The judge noted Meta failed to prove Strike 3 did not show infringement, citing evidence of algorithmic torrenting and business-driven distribution.

CrowdStrike, with assistance from Google and Shadowserver, dismantled the Glassworm botnet, which had infected hundreds of open-source software packages since 2025. The operation disrupted four attacker-controlled servers and infrastructure layers, including Solana blockchain, BitTorrent, and Google Calendar, to halt malware distribution and credential theft.
