    Brazil probes emergency warning system after nationwide rogue alert

    Brazil's emergency alert system was breached, sending a rogue 'extreme' alert with the message 'misantropi4' to devices nationwide. The system, managed by Defesa Civil Nacional, was taken offline after the unauthorized alert, which was confirmed by authorities to be unrelated to actual emergencies.
