Two Bronx women, Denise Jarvis and her daughter Geneva Jarvis, were charged with murder for allegedly starving their 16-year-old autistic son, Adonis Jarvis, to death. Adonis and his twin brother, both autistic and nonverbal, exhibited severe malnourishment and neglect before his death in March, leading to a grand jury indictment and arraignment on July 30.
