An audit found that Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade had city staff supervise his children during work hours and at city events. Seven employees reported watching the mayor's children without pay, with one noting an unspoken expectation to continue. The audit also cited personal use of city vehicles, prompting policy updates.

The Minneapolis City Council committee approved an ordinance requiring law enforcement transparency in joint agreements and postponed a $3.7 million ShotSpotter contract extension. Six residents opposed continuing with ShotSpotter, while one council member supported it. A utility bill assistance program with CAPHC was approved, and a police task force presentation was postponed.
