Ukraine developed the homegrown glide bomb, called the Equalizer or Vyrivniuvach, which can transform conventional bombs into precision weapons for striking Russian forces from safer distances. Developed by DG Industry with support from Brave1, the weapon allows Ukrainian warplanes to attack targets far behind enemy lines while reducing reliance on U.S. and European supplied munitions. Although most of the components are local, the bomb’s chips and microcircuits still originate from abroad.

Ukraine developed a homegrown glide bomb called Vyrivniuvach, or "Equalizer," designed by DG Industry to allow pilots to strike Russian forces from safer distances. This new weapon aims to reduce Kyiv's reliance on foreign supplies such as U.S.-supplied JDAM-ER kits and French-made Hammer bombs. The ability to use this domestically produced bomb provides more control over guided ordnance, even though some chips and microcircuits still come from abroad.

Ukraine has successfully developed and declared its first homegrown guided aerial bomb combat-ready, featuring a 250-kilogram warhead capable of striking targets dozens of kilometers away. Developed by DG Industry in 17 months with support from the state-backed defense innovation cluster Brave1, the weapon offers a low-cost alternative to Western missiles while reducing reliance on foreign military aid.
