Sudan's Darfur region faces an imminent famine threat due to severe drought, soaring food prices, and disrupted trade, according to the General Coordination for Displaced Persons and Refugees in Darfur. Communities are struggling to secure basic supplies as the crisis deepens.

An air strike in Sudan's North Kordofan killed at least 24 civilians, primarily women and children, in Sharshar. A separate Rapid Support Forces (RSF) attack in El Jamama caused nine deaths and displacement.

The Sudanese Pound (SDG) continues to decline against the US Dollar (USD) despite government measures such as increasing the indicative customs USD exchange rate and banning certain imports. These actions have failed to stabilize the currency or halt its depreciation.

Repeated drone strikes in El Obeid, North Kordofan, have killed and injured civilians, damaged infrastructure, and worsened shortages of fuel, water, and bread. Fighting in North Darfur has displaced thousands. Joint Forces claim territorial gains in the region.

At least 15 civilians were killed and dozens injured in drone attacks on villages and a market in North Kordofan. A separate drone strike on a fuel station in El Obeid resulted in one death and multiple injuries.

Nine civilians were killed in a drone attack on Kubum in South Darfur, following a previous strike that killed 20 people. Tribal tensions are escalating in the region, with tribal leader Mohamed El Amin Turk accusing unnamed parties of deploying snipers in Kassala ahead of a supporter rally.
