Enugu North District By-election

The Igbo-Eze South chairman assured Mbah of the local government area’s support for the APC candidate in the Enugu North District By-election. The governor, Mr. Mbah, attended an APC campaign event and commissioned a redesigned secretariat complex in Igbo-Eze South.

INEC has restored the Labour Party in the Enugu senatorial by-election after the party filed a lawsuit alleging its candidate was excluded from the candidate list. The Labour Party had sued INEC following the exclusion of Simon Eze from the Enugu North District by-election candidate list.
