    Mexico begins consultation process with over 16,000 communities on new Indigenous rights law

    Mexico's federal government will consult over 16,000 Indigenous and Afro-Mexican communities on a proposed General Law on the Rights of Indigenous and Afro-Mexican Peoples before sending it to Congress in October.
