Authorities are investigating a suspected fuel leak from a Boeing 747 cargo aircraft at Hong Kong airport, which prompted an emergency response from police and firefighters. The aircraft was parked outside the Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal when the leak from its left wing was reported.

Hong Kong airport’s security contractor has expanded its canine patrol unit to the newly relaunched Terminal 2, deploying 20 dogs and handlers. Operations at Terminal 2 have been generally smooth, with increased passenger numbers as 15 airlines moved in.
