    The funeral ceremonies for former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei will extend to Iraqi cities Najaf and Karbala, where his remains will be flown after events in Tehran and Qom. Ceremonies in Najaf and Karbala, home to shrines of Imam Ali and Imam Hussein, will precede his burial in Mashhad at the Imam Reza shrine.
