MTA hosting IBX pop up workshops along proposed light rail line this summer

The MTA is hosting pop-up workshops along the proposed Interborough Express (IBX) light rail route in Brooklyn and Queens to gather public feedback on station design, service updates, and community priorities. The project, using existing tracks, aims to connect Bay Ridge to Jackson Heights via 18 stops, serving 900,000 people with a projected 160,000 weekday riders. Workshops include interactive activities to simulate IBX trips and prioritize station features.
