- Indianapolis Picks National Charter Leader To Run Charter-Public School Board
Indianapolis has appointed Karega Rausch, president of the National Association of Charter School Authorizers, as the first executive director of the Indianapolis Public Education Corporation (IPEC). The board, created by the Indiana state legislature, aims to increase charter school influence in the city's schools, address a surplus of school seats, and implement shared tax funding between districts and charters.

The Indianapolis Public Education Corporation (IPEC) has appointed Karega Rausch as its new executive director.
