A German palliative care doctor was sentenced to life in prison for murdering 15 people with lethal sedatives and is under investigation for over 70 additional deaths. The court described him as a 'serial killer' driven by a 'lust for murder' and banned him from practicing medicine.

Berliners in Kreuzberg won a court ruling against the mayor's plan to lock Görlitzer Park at night with a €2m fence intended to deter drug dealers. The park, known as 'Görli,' is a central social space for the community.
