    Detroit rapper Sada Baby pleads no contest to felony drug charge, sentencing scheduled

    Detroit rapper Sada Baby, whose real name is Casada Sorrell, pleaded no contest to a felony drug charge in Macomb County court. He was arrested in April 2025 for possession of Acetaminophen and Oxycodone Hydrochloride, a Schedule 2 controlled substance, and faces sentencing on Aug. 20. A habitual offender charge will be dropped as part of the plea agreement.

    A Lake Orion woman, Rachele Ricklefs, had her insanity plea accepted by a Macomb County court for allegedly striking nearly a dozen people with her Jeep in September 2025, leading to 18 felony charges.
