Rain triggered a landslip in Panakkad, Kerala’s Malappuram, blocking a highway. Authorities had closed the highway after a hill shed loose soil since Sunday, leading to the slope failure. The landslide involved earth, rocks, trees, and impacted the swollen Kadalundipuzha river.
