- Fountain pet boarding facility shut down after dog deaths, owner speaks out for first time
A pet boarding facility in Fountain, Boardmoor Pet Resort, was temporarily shut down after state investigators found multiple failures, including three dog deaths and six failed inspections in a year. The owner, Daniel O'Sullivan, faces criminal charges, and the Gomez family, whose two dogs were killed at the facility, called for its closure. O'Sullivan attributed the deaths to an accident involving a loose dog, but inspection records revealed prior incidents of escapes and neglect.
