- 20-year-old man drowns at St. Croix Beach
A 20-year-old man drowned at St. Croix Beach on Sunday evening after emergency responders and members of the public attempted to rescue him. Despite lifesaving efforts, he was later pronounced dead at Regions Hospital. The incident is under investigation, and multiple drownings and a critical injury occurred during the Fourth of July weekend in Minnesota.

A shooting in St. Paul's Dayton’s Bluff neighborhood injured two teenagers early Sunday morning. Police responded to reports of two males shot around 12:46 a.m. on Third Avenue East, finding a 17-year-old with a back injury and an 18-year-old with a foot injury. Both were hospitalized, and no arrests have been made.
