A man was shot in the shoulder while driving near the offramp from Highway 167 to South 180th Street in Renton on Thursday. Witnesses reported that a man driving a Volkswagen sedan shot at another man driving a Dodge Ram around 5 p.m., resulting in the arrest of an additional man. Washington State Patrol responded to the scene.

A man in Renton is accused of killing his mother and attacking a police officer. The incident escalated from what officers initially thought was malicious mischief to a homicide investigation. Furthermore, one police officer underwent emergency surgery due to knife wounds to the face.
