    In just three days, Maryland State Police pluck people to safety in aerial rescues

    Maryland State Police conducted three aerial rescues over the Fourth of July weekend in Talbot, Baltimore, and Garrett counties, using aviation units to hoist stranded individuals to safety. The rescues included two groups in water-related incidents and a hiker with a head injury. This year, aviation units have completed 1,500 missions, including 975 medevacs and 94 search and rescue operations.
