A South Carolina lawmaker who prosecuted Susan Smith stated that women on Lindsay Clancy's jury may view her less sympathetically than generally assumed, despite her defense claiming postpartum psychosis for the deaths of three children. The prosecutor noted that both Clancy's physical injuries and the nature of her alleged mental health issue could complicate the prosecution’s case. Clancy faces charges for three counts of first-degree murder.
